 Only 1 Remote Database

Collecting the right infrared codes is still one of the main challenges to get the project done. Especially finding codes for the latest models and getting the discrete codes right is not a sinecure.

Thanks to Only One Remote (O1R), based in Atlanta, we can now present you a revolutionary database that covers most custom installation brands and models of 2008 and 2009. Years of experience and testing has lead to a highly reliable and powerful set of IR-codes that can be used for free in your projects. The codes are presented in a My Database file (.db) that you can import in your Pronto editor (PEP version 1 and 2).

You will recognize some important changes compared to the Philips factory database. Most important is the fact that it does not contain each model number per brand but instead a product group. For example all Denon AV-receivers typically use the same codes, although the more advanced models have extra functions. Therefore you can find simply all Denon receivers models 2009 under ‘Denon Main Zone All Models 2009’.

Also the labeling of the functions is done in a very consistent way, so that that changing brands will automatically put the new codes under the buttons correctly. The functions are now also grouped alphabetically so it’s easier to find the function you are looking for.

The focus of the O1R Database is not to be the biggest but to be the most useful database around. So e.g. VCR’s are not present, but the latest BluRay players are. Also the O1R Database will be regularly updated with new components.

You can download the latest O1R Database here.

In PEP1 and PEP1.1 you will need to replace your My Database with the O1R Database (Select File – Restore My Database) while in PEP2 you can add any component from the O1R Database to your own My Database (go to the My Database view and select ‘Open Other Database’ down right).
